one thing to do is to be aware of the feelings that come before the onset of the attack and try deep breathing exercises , you may be able to get a grip on it before it becomes a full blown attack..work on meditation to keep calm. and of course if its a certain place or person that has to do with the anxiety, keep your distance...

Recongizing the cause, or at least the triggers, of the anxiety can go a long way to helping you overcome them. Positive affirmations and "calming" your way through them are effective techniques, as is meditiation.

There are also medicines that can help with anxiety, but which kind would be best for you is best left to your doctor after he examines and interviews you.

This is a very common problem and there are lots of avenues of help out there. I suffer from it, as do a couple of my best friends. We all take care of it slightly differenty, so the first thing to do is discuss your symptoms with your doctor.

I don't think you can control them, only control your reaction to them. I have them also. What helps me is music. I have had them so long that I can tell when one is soming on, so I get my mind busy. Work helps, but they are usually worse when I am home alone and have too much free mind time. HAving someone that understands that you can call or message when it hits also helps alot.

I should also add that I have not taken any of the drugs prescribed in a long time becasue I HATE the way they make me feel.

Have you talked to a docter about these panic & anxiety attacks. If not,I suggest you do.Have your docter prescribe some anxiety pills. Or talk to a pharmacist about this problem.

Perhaps finding the root of them is important. Why do you have them in the first place? See a good counselor.

Learning to relax, meditation techniques, aroma therapy (lavender oil) and self-talk, all could help you.

first learn breathing techniques to help you relax.

second try to find what stresses you out and try to over come it.

remember that you are in control and that you are not going to die. i know it feels like you are but you are not, you are not the only one who goes through this.
