In Japan today, there are many office workers play pachinko for fun. its a kind of ganble that is most popular in Japan. they use a machine that shoots balls and if the balls get in to specific part the slot turns. we can controll machinese by the positioning of the metal sticks or we can use computers to controll them. i would like to bring this machine to North America so we can enjoy them as well. its sort of like casino, but the rule is more strictly simpler and you can win huge amount of money from just a scratch of money. but how come its not introduced to our society yet? anybody give me suggestion to start this new business in here. and would you think it is a great investment to start this. any legal issue toward this? thank you

I saw these on a news feature a while ago. They look like fun, kind of a combination of a slot machine and a pinball machine. Let me know if you start it, I'd play!

First of all, any game that pays out is considered a gambling device and would at least be subject to state codes, and possibly federal and municipal codes as well. There are ways around certain codes such as Churches that have Bingo games. Get a lawyer!. Secondly you need more graphic description of the game. My first thought was " what the hell is a PACHINKO" ? Perhaps a website or somewhere with pictures might peak more public interest. and last, (this ties in with the graphic thing) your game sounds remarkably similar to pinball, which used to pay out and was outlawed during prohibition. It later came back in arcades as strictly entertainment ( though I'm sure that there are still old ones around someplace). Personally, I wouldn't invest in it, because you're competing against too many other popular past times in this country. Remember, we've perfected goofing off!

Well .. I've played Pachinko

I played it in Europe and found it to only be intertaining IF there
wasn't anything else to get my attention. I wouldn't give it the
time of day if I found it here in the U.S. ( Just like most of the
Europeans where I happened to play it.)

Now .. another problem is whether the particular Pachinko
machine is set up to pay out or not. If set up to pay out, the
only place you could place it is where gambling is legal.
Purchance it might make a little money at first due to it's
being 'new'. But, doubt it would repay the investment due
to the competition already here.

Just my opinion .....

Oh, like pinball?

First, if it is gambling and there is money to be won or lost, you have to check the rules on that. Most states and several cities have definite laws that would restrict such.

I think you would have better luck getting Americans to eat raw or lightly steamed bait, um, fish--but we already have places that sell that, sushi.
