This is called slander.
1) you need to talk to a lawyer or at least check out your state laws for slander..
2) If you can get a lawyer to write and send a formal cease and desist order to this person. if it is formal and legal and comes from someone other than yourself. he may believe you are serious about bringing this to court and shut up before you really do try and drag him in.
3) if this person is going on your property to talk to renters
check out the local laws on restraining orders. you may not stop the talk but you can stop the walk.

Be her friend, show love and compassion for all, always help when you hear the vioce telling you to, you will be blessed for doing so, maybe you will rub off on her, you could be her only hope at this time? I think the vioce is talking to you now. Dont sink to a lower level of conciousness, it breeds hurdles to jump.
Most people can tell by looking at someone and tell if they are a user by skin tone due to poisons excreting. Just the way you can tell someone doesnt use by their healthy skin tone and overall demeaner. If a renter cant see who you are, maybe you can find one who can.
What I mean when those kind of people group up, usually some form of drug use is going on. People see this and just think this is junkyville, what kind of landlord are you.
The only way is to change your kind of people you rent to. You can keep good ones and they usually do less property damage.

Here's a little trick I've learned and it really works well. Stop by the (bad)person's place and bring one of the people they told and then say, "So-and-so here said that you mentioned I'm a drug dealer....I just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page".....then wait for the reaction. I've done it as a boss when I've had employees backbiting and it cleared it up right away.

I have found that anyone doing me personal harm is just insecure. In the past I have written and sent certified letters, stating what you know and have heard, and if it does not stop you will contact a lawyer about slander. This usually does the trick. Hope this helps.

Confront them face to face. If it don't stop, file harassment charges on them. Normally I would say to ignore it, it'll go away. But that's a pretty strong accusation. That can cause a LOT of problems.

Invite the person over. Kill them. Burn the body, feed the remains to your dog. Then, kill your dog. Burn the dog. Feed the remains to another dog. Kill that dog. Burn it. Throw the remains in an ocean hundreds of miles away. Then either put in new carpet, or new grass, depending on if you killed the person inside or outside.
