Yes I did. I had them for 4 months a few years ago. I broke the contract & paid off the bill, which was about $80+$175 for the fee. I paid $200 & they took it, not giving me a credit. I didn't care & thought that was the end. 2 years later, I get a phone call, stating I owed this bill for $562.43 (I have the first collection bill still). I told them what happened & they said they'd handle it. I had to provide proof of payment, cancellation info. I had it all & sent it via fax & certified mail. 2 more years later, now we're 4 years away & I've changed my home ph # by then. I get another bill in the mail; now I owe $744.03. I didn't call them but sent them the proof that I'd paid it & the info I'd received from the last collection company that said thank you for your payment. Just this year, 5 years later, I got ANOTHER bill from yet another agency. Now the bill was $967.81 I sent them the proof from the first company as well as the letter from the last one. I'd gotten another thank you for your prompt payment letter from company # 2. How it jumped so high, I've not one clue, other than it had to have gone to more than one agency & the extra $$ was their fees. I contacted Experian & let them know what was going on. They asked for the info via fax & mail. I sent it certified again & got a letter from Experian that they'd handled everything. It was also off my credit. Sprint sux & I had more dropped calls & lost network than with ANY other carrier. Even when I worked for AT&T Wireless (now Cingular) I had better coverage & calls not dropping. I've been a Verizon Wireless user since they were Airtouch Cellular. I had my Verizon acct on vacation when I did the Sprint temp change.

I actually signed onto sprint at a nearby town 15 miles from my town. I live in a small town that doesnt have many stores so I drive to the next big town to shop. The sprint store there promised me my town was in the coverage area. But after i signed the contract, I got home with my new phone and found out that the connection was real shady and most of the time it said I was "roaming" even while I sat at home. I called sprint and complained saying I am roaming while I am at home, and you promised my area was covered. The roaming charges were huge. The lady on the phone recommended that I use my wall phone if I didnt like that I was roaming. I said, then why should I have this stupid cell phone?

They wouldnt let me out of the contract. after several HUGE bills full of roaming charges, I cancelled even though the contract wasnt up. I owe them some huge amount for breaking the contract, that I didnt pay because I thought I was cheated. BUt it hurt my credit. THis was like, two years ago or so. Their plans might have changed since then. I don't recommend them. I left a report at http://www.ripoffreport.com/

but I did not file with the better business bureau. Now that they hurt my credit, I wish I had.

Majorly! I initially signed up with a 2 year plan. About a year into my contract I cancelled texting because my bill was getting really high. So they added another year to my contract. I found out that anytime you make a change (either add a service or change your plan), your contract gets extended. I have had sprint for a little over two years now and I still have a contract for another year and a half. So basically they force you to pay the cancellation fee no matter what since the contract is always extending itself. I would not recommend sprint to anyone. My boyfriend has cingular and at least they have rollover minutes even if their plan charges are a bit expensive.

Of all the companies I have used, and I have tried 6 of them, Sprint is the best. I use about 3000-4000 minutes per month, text alot and call and travel all over the country. Sprint has the best plan for that many minutes. As far as the customer service, if the person I first talk to doesn't help me, I call another and persist until they do what I want. Works everytime.

oh yes ...they have the worst customer service...I believe they train the staff to be rude to customers....you call the customer service number and talk to one person they tell you one thing....call back 5 min later and get another person they will tell you a completely different story

All you need is a pulse to work at sprint, some I believe don't have even a pulse...they may just be propped up against the line of non working no signal cell phones

Me. I have been a sprint customer for 4 years, and every month my bill gets higher. I have called, and called. They tell me it is because my service wasn't updated to the new plans when they changed them. So, i asked for a reimbursement, and they said that it is my responsibility to get the updated version. I fought with them, and finally got a $500 reimbursement for their mess up, but it took me 2 years to get it.

Every damn day. We now have bright house digital telephone, for the home, it is awesome. And we left sprint wireless two years ago to go to Nextel (because we hated sprint) yeah, and guess what happens? You know. They merge. What the hell!!
