You say "I love you" in more ways than words. When you hold hands at the movies, or wink at them across the room, you are reminding them how much you love them. I tell my husband that I love him every night before we go to bed, and any time during the day when I think about how lucky I am.

Say it when you mean it and it is not cheesy. Some people need to say it and some people don't. Just like some people need to hear it and some don't. I say it several times a day to my hubby and he may only say it to me several times a year. Does it mean less when you say it more? Does it mean you love someone more if you say it more than they do? It is not a score keeping game, it is a matter of comfort in saying it, openness of a person and many other factors. Why do people claim to want to be individuals, but have to compare everything to see if they are normal?

I do not want to disillusion you with your sister but apparently she and her man do not love each other. I tell my wife I love her many, many times a day. We have been married for 48 years and it has never seemed cheesy to us. I don't have to say it to her. She knows it without me opening my mouth but I just like to keep reminding her of what a good thing we have. There is a country song that anyone who questions the need to show affection should listen to. It is by Charlie Pride and the Title is "Kiss and angel good morning." Line is "Kiss an angel good morning and Love her like the devil when you get back home." I tell you that is a receipe for a good life.

Saying it can never be said enough and is in no way cheesy or weird. I tell it to my wife alot and she tells me she loves me too. If the were hardly ever said would that not be a little sad?

All time in absolutely all the things we do. but that does not mean saying the actual words "I love you". For us, it is more in the little things we do that cry out loud that we love each other. I don't know how many times we say the actual words. For me, the more important is actually doing the real meaning of these words than saying them though i'm not going to refuse saying "I love you" when I really do love someone and want to tell him so. But most of the time it's there in the things we do.

It's not how "often"... it's how many times "OF - TEN" you mean it.
Say it when you mean it. You can go overboard sometimes in either direction. Some say it whenever they end a conversation on the phone. Others don't say it at all. The point is, "I - LOVE - YOU" are the sweetest words when said with meaning.

Several times a day actually, I never go to sleep without saying it either.
It's the best thing to hear from the person that you love. I never get bored with it. I never take it for granted.
Being in love is great.

I think if you really love someone you should say it to them at least before going to bed. At the end of the day when both of you are relaxed let each other know how much you love each other.

I use to tell him it several times a day, then one day he said that it had become meaningless because I said it to much, a year later he left me so I would be careful not to say it to often
