LIverpool, but this is not exactly a question that can truly be answered objectively. This year, it's officially Barcelona, last year it was officially Liverpool...like each region within the FIFA world, club championships are played before a pseudo final of the top teams from each region of the world.

The best soccer club in Europe would not be in Spain but England or Germany. Being that quite a few Brazilians go to Spain, it is assumed that the powerhouse lies in Spain. Not so, Germany and England have endless mega stars with one young Britian being compared to the likes of Pele. Beckman is also from England.
After the World Cup, unknown clubs will prove to be hidden powerhouses like Ecuador.
