I have never heard of a humane fetus, newborn or infant yet they are all human forms.

Not all humans are humane, so being human would come first.

To be humane, or to BE something your first have to BE something else....humane is characteristic of reasoning beings...and the only ones who reason are us...the humans....being a human comes firsts.

Interesting twist, but "human" must be first. The word "humane" means "to act like a human would" (my own definition). So before we can identify an action as "humane," we have to know how humans would/should act in that situation. Thus, we have to be human to define what it means to be humane.

well since being humane comes from being human.......i would say human comes first.

human comes first. i don't think animals can be humane. humane means being human anyways.

Being human. A persons, and every living creatures, primary goal is to survive. Humanity comes from a person who knows their existence is secure and wants to help others. Take away that security and one reverts right back to that primordial fight for survival.

As soon as you're born, you can die. That's being human.

It takes a fully mature person to be humane and want to help others. Unfortunately, some never reach that level.
