Um excuse me mrscmmckim, if the "big bang" occured IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR US TO EVOLVE, THERE WOULD BE NO LIVING MATTER FOR US TO EVOLVE FROM, SO WHILE YOU SIT THERE COMPLETLY BRAINWASHED FROM DAMNED SHCOOL ARTICLES YOU SHOULD GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT.

Micro-evolution in FACT is not a proven fact as well as the big bang theory have both been discredited by many high profile scientist.

evolution is the big bang, we are simply a symbol of how to graph it 3-d. As we extend into the 4-d, the choice is reflexive of the nature of it. there is some math here that should elevate you... [x]=summation(ln(z),z.z,11.11) = summation (z=x.0,.9xrepeating,7) = summation (ybasez,x=y, xbasez=zbasey=ybasex)
the first summation is the laws of the supersense, things like how gravity could just be the impossibility and the infinity and the sameness. The second part is how consciousness can be stretched into the "paranormal", which functions very nicely to preserve the duality itself in light dynamics of the system perceived. The last part is really beautiful. It is the circuitry of the God perspective. The symbolism behind iron being able to carry a magnetic differential with itself-- copper being able to have 1/2 resonance to human body particular, those phenomenon are not without unspeakable lovefulness. So look at the thing as being able to not not get to where everything everything... izes. Excellent question.

I believe that God created the heaven and the earth and all that is on \in it.And then He rested and let Adam and Eve go forth and populate the earth!
Why? Because it is written in the "Bible" whether or not some of it has been mistranslated.changed to suit man's ideas,or some parts deliberately left out (for what ever reason) We are instructed to believe with blind faith, and with the innocence of a child.I believe as long as I follow His written word,I will not be judged or punished for those parts that were changed or left out.so I don't worry about it! It's trivial, and a waste of time, because we won't know until the day we get to heaven! People spend too much time trying to prove or disprove this or that. When they do that, they are actually doing the devils work because it causes a division and an eventual falling away from God. And God said for those that cause even one soul to turn away from Him.Their blood will be on that person's hands!

Science has proven the big bang happened and the effects of it are still happening. I have touched the skull of the oldest known skeletons of an upright standing humanoid. Lucy. This tactile experience was amazing. When you can see through fossils that a horse evolved from a two foot tall creature, a bird from a lizard, fish to lizards and so on...how could anyone be so smug as to think this too didn't happen to humans? Especially in light of the evidence proving it!

I have a friend who is Muslim from Kenya, I took him to see Natural History Museum in Chicago. When he saw the bones of a dinosaur, he said "that is a lie made up by man, the world is only 4000 years old". When I took him past the mummy's in the Egyptology rooms, he ran from fright, saying that was cursed. When we saw the Eskimos, he yelped that the "witch doctors were at work doing evil." Finally, when I showed him Lucy, he said that was a lie. I never argued with him about his views but it showed me that even today, when we can collect comet dust to study, taking right from the cosmos it's self, we can not teach everyone the difference between superstition, social brainwashing and reality.

Go here for one source of proof:

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/03/0317_060317_big_bang.html

There are many sites devoted to the various proof of The Big Bang. You might also want to spend some time on the NASA site.

We know that galaxies are moving apart; even things within our own galaxy are expanding. In order for them to do this, the matter had to have started in one central place, and been exposed to a large enough push to set that matter in motion, i.e. a large explosion. There was also the discovery of background radiation in 1963, the tremendous heat left over from the Big Bang.

The scientific proof is there, if you will only look for it. And evolution occurred AFTER the BIg Bang. Are you also not aware that the chimpanzee is our closest relative? Something for you to ponder.

Um excuse me asdf, SCIENTIFIC theories ARE NOT MYTHOLOGY AND FOLKLORE! BOOKS FULL OF FAIRY TALE STORIES LIKE THE BIBLE AND KORAN ARE! With that out of the way, I think evolution is very possible. Did you know most knight's armors averaged 5"1? And that the average lifespan of a human back then was a mere 40 years? Makes me wonder. As for the Big Bang, hell I don't know. It sounds corny to me but more believeable than a god just thinking up the the whole damn universe. I guess that one is up to the individual. I for one believe Chuck Norris threatened the cosmos to create a universe, and you know what? That's just as believeable as any other idea or theory.

You write as if the two terms were mutually exclusive. The big ban IS the beginning of evolution. Furthermore, I believe God made it happen. There is no "evidence/proof" since it is all theory, but if you'll study a bit, with an open mind, you may find that common sense leads you to the same deduction.

I do, but I also believe in God. I don't believe that the two are mutually exclusive. Consider for a moment that the Bible tells us that God created the heavens and the earth; however, the Bible does not tell us HOW God created the heavens and the earth. Could it not have been through a large explosion...'the big bang'.

As for evolution, again, I truly believe that evolution is apparent all around us. However, again, I don't think that God and the theory of evolution are mutually exclusive. If God could create man, could he not create man through evolution?

there is lots of evidence supporting both
the better question would be support another theory (actually micro-evolution is not a theory it is FACT)

the Vatican's chief astronomer, Fr. George Coyne, issued a statement on 18 November 2005 saying that "Intelligent design isn't science even though it pretends to be. If you want to teach it in schools, intelligent design should be taught when religion or cultural history is taught, not science."

Cardinal Paul Poupard added that "the faithful have the obligation to listen to that which secular modern science has to offer, just as we ask that knowledge of the faith be taken in consideration as an expert voice in humanity." He also warned of the permanent lesson we have learned from the Galileo case, and that "we also know the dangers of a religion that severs its links with reason and becomes prey to fundamentalism."

The Big Bang and Creation go hand in hand... It is much deeper than you think.

CREATION...

Physicists currently interpret physical creation, that is, the
universe as we know it, as having occurred within a time span o
about three minutes...the "Big Bang." Our physical universe is
thought to have been created with the explosion of a hyper-dense
particle which contained every bit of matter and energy that now
exists in the universe, including the matter which forms our
living bodies as we meet here today. This hyper-dense super
molecule also is thought to have been quite small. Dr. Leon
Friedman, director of the FermiLab near Chicago, has indicated it
may have ben no larger than a basket ball. Into this "ball" was
jammed all matter and all energy in our universe. It remained
there until some creative force, some creative urge, disrupted
the status of this primal "egg" and set into being the universe
as we know it. this event occurred with the so-called "Big
Bang," echoes of which have been detected by scientific
instruments.

Our interpretation of the nature of this creative force or
creative urge is opposed to that of Judeo-Christianity in that we
perceive it as feminine...they see it as masculine. We hold that
pre-creation was feminine and this divergence in concept of first
Things, creation, forever separates our Neopagan world-view from
the Judeo-Christians. Briefly consider this, and you may want to
dwell upon it later, our Goddess, of Her own will, receives Her
consort, the God whom she created, and from Their union our
creation is ever revived and sustained. The Christian reviver
and sustainer, on the other hand, was conceived in a most
singular manner. The omnipotent God sent a neuter third party
messenger, and angel, to announce to a virgin that she was
pregnant with the child, Jesus. So there. Zap! What a
put-down! What revival and sustenance can we find in such a
sterile and asexual concept? Even masculine old Zeus copulated
with human females so at least somebody got some fun out of the
process! What we Neopagans find difficult to understand is why
Judeo-Christianity so vehemently turned its back on sex and not
just sex as a physical act but also sex as a gender,
specifically, sex as a feminine gender.

When we seek to deal with Creation we also must situate our place
as human beings within the totality of Creation....

I don't believe in either. Most people are more intelligent than that I would hope. This universe and all its systems work together too perfectly, not to have been designed by a Great Artist, Engineer, Scientist, Designer kind of God. Even one of the systems, take a look at your body for instance... Amazing creation. Amazing Creator. God.
