You must make your own meaning. That is both the beauty and the challenge of it. By the way, our existence does not need to have a "meaning," per se. It is okay to simply enjoy being alive, despite all the ugliness that surrounds us.

Honor God, honor your family, honor your good friends and honor yourself. Try to treat people the way you want to be treated all the time. Say hello to that old person sitting in a corner who can't get up to say hello. Say a prayer at night for the people who need help with anything.
