Netflix is slightly better than Blockbuster since it has more titles and delivery is a bit faster. However, if you live near a Blockbuster Video store - Blockbuster is a better choice - you can take advantage of the free in store rentals, 1 free rental each week. Both companies offer free trials and have various plans to choose from depending on you viewing preference. Go with Blockbuster if you live near the their video stores.

By the way, netflix was doing the movie online thing way before blockbuster. Blockbuster got the idea from netflix because they were losing a lot of customers to netflix. I still say netflix hands down. I have never had a problem and I have found a lot more movies that I wanted to see at netflix.

I found blockbuster to be better. I have personally used both. Blockbuster has more facilities and you get your movies faster. They also offer you coupons that you can use at blockbuster stores for free rentals (included in your membership, so you don't pay extra for this)
Netflix does have a better variety though.

Go with the original online service -- Netflix.
I'm sure that Blockbuster is just fine. Just, well, I like to root for the little guy. And they invented the web-based online DVD rental service so why go with Blockbuster?

I use Netfix, but Blockbuster will send you coupons for free movies. If you want to take the time to go to your Blockbuster to get the free movies. I have been with Netflix for about a year and I have had no problem with them. That is true they do take their time if you watch them to fast but. I return them the next day and have never had a problem with their turn-around time.

NETFLIX is the original..and best all the way. Blockbuster will find a way to give you some fees.

Netflix by far. Never had a problem with them, can always find the movies I want, and get them right away.
