When you e-mail someone (just a regular letter) is there anything in yahoo that can tell you when they read it or when it was accessed?

Not at this point, though Yahoo is undoubtedly capable of having such a feature. I'm guessing it has something to do with privacy concerns; I don't want someone e-mailing me saying "I know you saw my message, why didn't you get back to me" every time I read something.

Apparently AOL thinks this little feature is worth $23.95 a month, since that's about the only noticable difference between it and standard ISPs. Oh, that and the "security features" (AOL commercials make me laugh at their inanity...thinking everyone is still ignorant)

No, you will not know when it was read or if it was accessed unless the recipient replied to your email.

In Outlook go to "tool" "options"..."receipt"

i don't think so for yahoo. i know when i used aol they had stuff like that.
