Jackas* is much easier to say, but the best word is 'narcissistic'. I've always used that when the person is arrogant, but the meaning itself is still the same regardless of if they are mean, arrogant, or disgustingly sweet. If they are stuck on themselves, and they think are "da bomb", there's your answer. :)
