I think they know they are not asking a question, but they are trying to find validation of an opinion they already hold. At least, I hope they know, because it seems pretty obvious to the rest of us they are just "fishing".

After reading the poor English written in here, with poor spelling and even worse grammer. It's no surprise, that they don't know the difference between a question and a statement.

That's cute. A statement in the form of a question. Crafty really. Why do people insist on putting their thoughts in the form of a question?

Sometimes I ask one question, to see who's online, and then ask others, that are relevent to the answers I get. Some questions can be answers too. Christians were once called fishers of men. Fishers use bait. Questions bait discussions.

They are looking for another person to say that they believe the same thing. This seems to be prevalent in the politics and religion sections strange as it may seem. Mind you, you still find people who are open to a good argument.

It's an age-old trick, very common, not only here, but in all kinds of places, even simple conversations. People really don't want to know things, usually, they just want to spout off.

why are they asking for questions and it so easy to find answer at wikipedia
they take about 5 min to ask a question while it only take 2 min to look up answer on wikipedia
