Do you think his foul against Shaq was flagrant? Does this suspension indicate that star players such as Shaq receive preferential treatment by the refs?

Listennnnnnn.....to ya boy, he should have not been suspend. I would have understood if he was thrown out of the game, because it was a flagrant foul he didn't even go for the ball. But to be suspend is a really bad move by the NBA. I think right now the league is trying to prove who is in charge, because alot of players are becoming bigger than the sport. But in defense of the NBA if any other player would have been hit like that, Stackhouse would have been suspend. But like I said David Stern is putting the players in check. By all his new policies with the dress code, no listen to music players on the bench, the age limit, and the suspensions. But the suspension is uncalled for i mean the game gets physical and even more so in the playoffs.

I was surprised Shaq even fell being his size which he doesn't mind using.
It was a hard foul, nothing new there, watch the Pistons.
I've seen worse in the playoffs without it being called flagrant. And yes, the NBA does treat its stars better. They say that's who the people pay to see. Ask Danny Ainge how many fouls he took for Larry Bird. But this is tipping the scales against a team for an entire game.

Absolutely not; the commentators even said when it happened that it wasn't a severe flagrant foul.

I don't understand why the NBA sees it fit to suspend him when they didn't even eject him from the game for it! It seems that they're contradicting their own authority (the officials).

I don't think it had anything to do with the fact that it happened to be Shaq, just an overreaction. If it had happened during the regular season, nothing would've likely been done.

Nope. He shouldn't have been suspended. It was anywhere near the kind the severity of the fouls the other suspensions have come from during these playoffs. Overreaction.

No i don't believe so. It's a game and things get ruff sometimes.

I Say let them play

Plus I think Shaq does get babied by the refs. That's just my opinion

If Stackhouse didnt play on Mark Cuban's team; he would not have been suspended. Stern is doing everything he can to make sure that trophy dosent touch Cubans hands.
