You should be able to. The main ingredient in Mucinex is guaifenesin which is an expectorant to help loosen the phlegm. The ingredients in Nyquil are for nasal congestion, allergies, coughing & pain relief. I was taking them both last week when I was sick and I didn't have a problem. But make sure you have the regular Mucinex and not the one that also contains a nasal decongestant because then you will be overdosing on that ingredient if you're also taking Nyquil. Hope you feel better soon! :)

Mucinex is guaffsein in a large dose.Look on the label of the NyQuil and see if it is an ingredient. If so then don't mix the two.Mucinex is an expectorant that is used to thin and help you cough up phlegm.Cough syrups vary as to what you need.A cough? congestion? stuffy nose? Mucinex is an excellent drug.

Yes, there's not enough guafenesin in Nyquil to hurt you by taking it with Mucinex. Sleep well, hope you feel better soon!!

I wouldn't. When my fiance takes mucinex it will make him high, so we looked up the side effects. I geuss some people will take high amounts of mucinex to get high just like nyquil. So I wouldn't trust how they will effect each other.

Nyquil has alcohol so you may want to use a non-alcohol med. Mucinex-D is fine. Not sure why you'd want to use both concurrently.
