I started my period on the 21st of May (no problem), but then I statred to spot a week and a half later. I have been spotting for two weeks straight, is this normal? My husband and I are trying to get pregnant not sure what's going on. If there is anyone out there that could help or even give suggestions my ears are wide open to anything at this point. I am kind of getting worried, should I be? Please help!!

You should go see your doctor...
I spotted with my first pregnancy for three months before I found out I was pregnant. My second pregnancy I didn't have my period at all.
It can be from stress, or normal. however you need to relax and probably don't try so hard on the worrying part, just enjoy your sex and it will happen when it is the right time.
good luck and best wishes.

Usually doctors in the US and Canada put women on the birth control pill for three months to regulate periods after a hormone. Since you are trying to get pregnant, taking a Monk's Pepper or Chaste Tree Berry herbal supplement first thing in the morning every day may help you like it helps European women.

There is a mind-body connection to how a woman's cycle works, especially after a miscarraige when we experience terrible grief over losing a longed-for pregnancy. I am very, very sorry for your loss and I wish you a quick healing. Have you had a good cleansing cry over your loss? If not, you might want to have an hour alone to empty out all your sadness. It is a good idea to talk about it with friends and family and then, to focus on the future. Try to visualise yourself as a mother.

There are many yoga classes for women with fertility issues and you might find one of them helpful. It is also important to laugh and enjoy life (but not by smoking or drinking or partying). Watching good comedies, reading fun books, all of these things can help you and your cycle get back in tune.

There are many things that could be happening here. Did you recently come off of birth control? If so, this could be your period finding its' own timing again. Or, if you are 35 or older this could be the start of menopause (but you can still get pregnant). I would suggest you wait and see if you have a normal cycle. If the next cycle does not seem normal, go see your primary care physician or an OB/GYN. Good luck! If you want more info on trying to conceive look at Taking Charge of Your Fertility.

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

sounds like you need a medical D&C to clean your womb out and stop all the in between period spotting. there is a pill you can take for 10 days called provera (10mg). you take it once a day for 10 days. initially it will dry up the spotting that you are doing then within about 2 wks of finishing the med you should start your period DO NOT be alarmed if it is heavier than usual, that's what it is supposed to do. It causes the lining of your uterus to shed and rid itself of all the build up and sludge, leaving behind a healthy uterus to sustain a pregnancy. you should talk to your ob gyn about this.

I WAS TOLD STRESS BUT I AM NOT UNDER ANY STRESS AND MY WEIGHT IS FINE, AND I TAKE A VITAMIN EVERYDAY. GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE EVERY THING IS OK.
