we use aloe vera as a base for all of our skin care products because its awesome for the skin. take notice that "clear aloe vera" is most likely just water turned to gel. aloe is a brown powder and will not make a clear product when the appropriate amount has been added. so look for aloe vera products that have a yellowish tint to them or some have added other ingredients that may make them a different color. but dont go for the clear ones.
