If you are Fifteen and not Looking for "Babysitting" types jobs takes me to the conclusion that you are still in High School. You should go and ask your ETC (Education to Carriers) Coordinator in HS. Often these guys possess a big help but not always. I suggest you wait until you become 16. Try to make connection during this time. By connections I means be always ready to help without thinking about any benefits. Show your Teachers that you really a Person who can be Trusted. Trust me, If you do so, A Teacher will only ask you to go to such a place for internship. Not a Place like Burger King but a Place like an Air Conditioned Office!!! But If you really want to work now, Make a Resume` and show that to your Counselor or a Person Who you think have "Good Connections" and They will find a way out for you.

The world is full of opportunity for you ... even at 15.
I assume, based on your question, that you are looking
for something different than the 'standard' jobs usually
open to young teenagers.
Ok .. so ... stop and think a second. What can you do
that others would pay you for?
One 'hot' area is in reference to TIME. If you like to shop,
you can set up a summer business of shopping for people
that do not have enough time. Whether it be groceries or
Art supplies. Service is the key.
Or ... you can do other things ... such as install 'see-through'
door devices. Paint house numbers on curbs.
Bottom line ... look around. You're probably surrounded by
all kinds of opportunity. Don't be afraid to think "differently".
Find a NEED ... and FILL that need. (and the money will follow)

If your parents are willing to put their name on it until you are 18, you could start your own business from home.
There's a lot of work involved. Training in retail, fundraising, wholesale, building a team. You could pick & choose which would interest you the most, focus on one at a time or combine them. The choice would be yours.
There are several teenagers and many college students that are doing this. Usually, if someone is in your situation the parents are involved and then the kids help them out.
But, if your parents did this, it would be YOUR business, YOU would have to do the training and everything else involved. Any money that your parents put out, YOU would have to pay them back with the money you make.
Are you ready to make that type of committment? Not many teenagers your age could. If you think this might be possible for you, write me and tell me why you are different from other teenagers.

This is a great opportunity for you to explore what you might like to do as a career. What are you interested in? What are your friends interested in? Use this as a guide. You may want to start a business that offers a service that utilizes your talents or skills . You may get inspired to learn a new skill. Maybe you have an affinity for dealing with animals. Maybe you could assist at a vet's office. If you're good at art you could make signs for local business or paint windows. It's just a matter of changing your perspective. Jobs are everywhere and sometimes you have to make one for yourself.

Every state has different laws; but I'm sure you can come up with something. In Florida you can be a bagger at a grocery store at age 14, working about 13 hrs. a week. There are also waiter/ busboy/ waitress jobs available usually. If you have a relative who owns a business, they can hire yiou at about any age. Good luck.

Yes there are many opportunities. If you are interested in medical you can be a candy strip er in a hospital, or if you are into reading go to the library. I was a cashier at a grocery store at 15 and a waitress. So yes there are several venues you can get into. Try to go to business's that you are interested in for a possible career.

Depending on what you want to do, you may have to get a work permit or just have written permission from your parents.
If you have any organization or typing skills, you can get a job in almost any office doing typing, filing, and other adminstrative duties.
If you like people, you may want to look into sales; that includes anything from Walmart to any retail store you can imagine.
You may also want to consider being a lifeguard, doing a newspaper route, or working in food, such as fast food, coffee shop, smootie shop, etc.
Good luck in your search!

You can work at McDonald's. Most states allow 15-year olds to work part-time hours (not past 7:00 PM) and weekends. It allows you to get a little cash in your pocket, and may pay more than babysitting.
