i ask cause I would like to know how people can think one is innocent and not the other or how one of them can be guilty and not the other. The same amount of evidence was brought aganist each and I think if someone thinks one is innocent or guilty they should think the same of both.

Good music aside, the fact that he is weird and strange and surrounds himself with small boys how can you want him to profit off his music that you buy. And now he has moved to the middle east so he wont be under the laws here in the U.S

Michael Jackson did a world of good for the music industry. His singles made repeated number ones and his albums soared the charts, creating several admirable music breakthroughs... However, while I respect his music ability, I doubt I'll ever feel truly comfortable listening to another song by Michael Jackson. Yes, I know he wasn't proven guilty, but there are few too many loose screws for me to ignore...
I notice persons defending Michael, but I think it's important to forget the glossy idyllic superstar from our past and consider the reality.
- For one, similar allegations were made against Michael before to which he responded by drafting up a monetary agreement so as to prevent the issue from going to trial... That seems a bit unusual to me, particularly considering that he is *supposedly* innocent.
- Child porn was found in Michael's home---a home which he made a 'magical' childlike fantasy, filled with things that are certain to appeal to the typical American child. This is important since a lot of pedifiles set out to attract youngsters whether through animated conversation or engaging items likely to gain a child's friendship.
- The majority of Michael's friends were kids and he constantly kept slumbers in which young children were his exclusive guests---*underage* guests he had sleep in his bed...
I find it extremely difficult to ignore all this along with the many other factors that point to Jackson's *possible* guilt. I'm not implying that he's not in fact just a quirky individual who has employed odd (and somewhat incomprehensible) means to create the childhood he's never had. But, the fact of the matter is there's is a huge possibility that Michael Jackson is guilty. This should not be ignored, particularly since children are involved. It would be difficult for me to consider myself a fan of Michael's after seriously considering these concerns.
As for OJ, I can't help but see him as guilty. The evidence seems more to support the view that the officer's tampered with the evidence than it proves OJ did not in fact commit a murder.
[Sorry for the long write :)]

we cannot separate MJ from his music...
coz whether we like it or not, his name is synonymous to music.
he was known far more because of his music than what he has done lately. to all of his fans, ( i am one of them ) he was the young man who gave the world the song that made christmases more wonderful and he taught us that Ben is the one friend we all should learn to lean on.
i don't want to think that he is not guilty and i dont want judge him either.
that is the price of fame....
