Take heart my friend for you are not alone! Talk to a doctor - they can refer you to support groups or other professionals to help you deal with your depression. I found it helpful to remind myself how much I have to offer and that I am someone special! Don't let your emotions get the better of you - you will find that they often exaggerate problems and can make you lose confidence in yourself. You are a wonderful person, and you have a lot to give to life and the world. Please talk to a professional now and always remember that you are not alone! Take care, and let me know if I can help - I've been there!

I wish I knew what to tell you. I've been there and still find myself there.

Have you tried talking to a councilor or a therapist? It helps. I don't know if you've ever done that before. If you haven't, it may seem wierd at first, but you'll get used to it.

Talk to your family doctor about anti-depressants if you're not already on them life Zoloft or Wellbutrin. He/she may need to refer you to a psychiatrist to prescribe the medication. Sometimes the family doctor can prescribe them, though.

Try writing in a journal or drawing or writing poetry. This helps some people, too.

Call a crisis line in your area, they are of great help in times like these. Try it out what have you got to lose? If the problem is alot deeper try councelling and telling your family and friends that this is alot more serious than they think it is. But give the crisis line a call!

I have always turned to God in times of hopelessness. It is not that your family and friends don't care. Maybe you haven't been able to express exactly what you feel and want from them. Try again. You could go to a school counselor or a priest or a minister for advice. Please do not take a permanent way out of a temporary situation.

I draw. I've got one picture that kinda kills me to look at, but it was exactly what I was feeling at the moment.

If you are thinking of "giving up" I'd suggest you call the suicide hotline. They will help you and I believe that its all anonymous.

Don't give up. You will be fine...even if it doesn't feel like it sometimes (i'm always depressed...I have issues that don't help it any and a husband who, when I tell him I'm depressed, choruses in that he is too...and isn't of helping the one who voiced up for help, he tells me exactly what is wrong with him.)

If you really need to talk to someone face to face, go to you religious center...IE church, synagogue, or mosque...or what ever it is you believe in.

Keep looking for someone that will listen. If you can't find anyone, you may have to help yourself. You might try writing or do something creative that will let you get your emotions out. Don't give up. I promise it can get better.

God is there 24/7. He always listens. Call the minister at your church. Talk to the parents of one of your friends or a school counselor.

I watch a movie. preferably one that makes me forget about my problems and get wrapped up in someone else's problems for a while.
Green Mile or Shawshank Redemption work for me.

My diary. I read it and read the times I was alone and desparate. I read about the happy days and fun times I recorded.

A wise woman once said

"Save a diary and one day your diary will save you"
