I don't think about them much at all. There are so very many problem spots in the world, and the we here in the US have them also. Nothing like the problems Nigerians have. When Mr. Obasanjo goes, and he says he is going, things will probably get worse, as he has at least improved the corruption problem somewhat, and has done a great job with the debt thing. But when he goes, Nigerians will fall to fighting over power and things will deteriorate. Already they are fighting, for good reason, about the oil industry's conditions, which should never have occured in the first place.
It's such a shame, Nigeria is a beautiful country and very rich in resources. It could be a great country that sets a good example for the rest of Africa. But past neglect and current corruption steals from the people and keeps the country down and in turmoil.

The general population of Nigeria is very nice. I've had Nigerian friends and was sad when they moved. You have to watch out for the scam artists though because the country has high unemployment and is going through many changes. The government tries to catch as many as they can.

I think most of them participate in Internet fraud, IE trying to get ppl to give them their account numbers to get them the money out of it.
