I know I can't be talking to EVERYBODY in the United States because I'm not seeing enough questions. How does Yahoo! divide up all the traffic it gets to make the pages slow enough for people to read? How many people get to see my question?

I would say at any given moment during a high traffic time there have to be at LEAST a few hundred questions being posted. Nobody could possibly be allowed to see all the questions because there would be way too many, so Yahoo! shows you a few of them. I think this is how it works, anyways.

Well I can see your question today it says it was posted 1 day ago and I clicked on page 5 so unless only 630 questions were asked so far in this section in the US (which I agree with you and I totally doubt thats all the people) I got to yours a little late but I am seeing it and answering it. I'm from PA if that helps at all.
