Go into nursing. There is a huge shortage of nurses if you are in the U.S. You will have you pick of places to work and can get large sign-on bonuses. Plus, to many people in the hospital, nurses are far more important to their day to day lives than doctors. You can really make an impact on people's lives and get paid well for it.

No one can choose a job for you; only you can do that. But, you can start with one field, like forensic, science, and medicine. And you can also go to school part-time for pediatrics, or maybe a teaching degree. You could be a counselor for some sort of outreach program, or you could become a vet. I would try to get training in at least 3-4 of these fields. That way you can try out each one, and decide for yourself which one grabs your attention or calls out to you.

Whoever said no one could choose a career for you is absolutely correct. However, I don't believe that "most people fall into their careers." There are many possibilities based on your information. Forensics, science, and medicine are all related fields. You might consider forensic medicine.

Be a preschool teacher. It is so fun and rewarding! I have worked with children for 7 years and they teach me something new everyday. We do fun science activities, sometimes they need medicine, and well forensics... we learn about dinosaurs and make fossils, and dig up "dinosaurs bones" (aka chicken bones), and you can have a class pet!! There are all the things you love and you can still go out at night and on the weekends.

Ok, here we go.
Go for several! Start with just one that pays well.

It's always in demand, everywhere in the USA. (This means you'll ALWAYS have a job if you want one.)

It's recession proof.

There's a drastic shortage, everywhere!

You can get paid $20-$60 an hour, depending on the local market. (This means you can afford to finance further career goals.)
You can get LOTS af jobs on the side, too!

It requires intelligence.
It involves science and diagnostic skills.
You can get Gov't financing for school, (any subject, not just this.)

Train to be a mechanic! It's an awesome foundation to build on and the skills TRANSFER to MANY other fields.

It's only up from here.
