Does WMP11 use more ram than WMP10?

things run a little sluggish when I'm using windows media player 11, but I don't recall this happening with 10...and I just installed more ram after 11.

well personally I love WMP11 couldn't ask for more i trune kinda msmooth on my pc... and yes it actuall does use more ram.. thats y a window vista contain so much ram you can't expect such a high perfermance software such as WMP11 to uwse less ram than the crappy WMP10... that should answer u ?

You probobly added slow ram. The most common in new computers is DDR400 (PC3200). But I also have WMP11 and things have been a little slower but I don't think it's WMP11 (Spyware)
