I want to order a pair of shoes for my husband as a surprize. He went out of town for a few weeks, and will be back within a week and a half. The pair of shoes I want to get him is availabe for females as well. He wears a size 13, so if I go to the women's section and order a 13, will they fit him? It's the same exact shoe. The size 13 in mens is not available, but is, in womens! Please help!!!

No, women's sizes are generally 1-2 sizes smaller even though the number is the same. In order to find a women's shoe that fit him you would need a 14 or 15 in women's.

From my experience there is a 2 size difference between men's and women's shoes. If you order your husband a size 15 women's then they should fit him. But I have a funny feeling you may have a hard time finding this size anyway. If you order the size 13 women's the shoes will likely be 2 sizes too small for him. Good Luck! I hope you find something nice for him if this doesn't work out. Maybe trying to get them from another store might help it you can't find a size to fit him.

for women, going to a mens' size you would normally go down two sizes. if men are trying to fit a women's shoe they would normally go up 2 sizes. so a 13 in mens would be like a womans 14 or 15.

I don't think so. They probably have them in both women's and mens sizes. men's are always 2 sizes bigger, So He would probably wear a 15 in women's shoes.
