Not very much. If you are considering removing the converter you need to check with your local garage or vehicle standards branch to see if it is legal to remove it from the year of car you are talking about. Also you need to know if it will mess up your cars computer after removing it.

In all honesty it only takes about 3-5 rwhp which isnt much considering if you take them off you set off codes for your check engine light and it sounds like crap and your car will smell like unburnt gas at stoplights.

you will burn up the rings in the motor with out the
catalytic converter.
