Because the Blondes Studies category took up the entire wing.

There is - it's labeled History (and a bunch of other categories).
As a historian, I should point out that most history for the last 2000 years has been about men - because it was written by men.
Women's Studies is just a way to balance the slate, like affirmative action. It's the same reason you have Black History month - because history has been written by white people.

People who believe there is no need for Men's Studies could benefit from reading a couple books by Dr. Warren Farrell, "Why Men Are the Way They Are," and "The Myth of Male Power."
Dr. Farrell has a web site at: http://www.WarrenFarrell.com
Some of his writings are posted there.

It's a good question.....I guess men don't study...
Seriously, men don't need a mens Studies category because we live in a Patriarchal society.
I just don't think men would be bothered.
Please, prove me wrong!!!

i disagree with nirudafat here. Both men and women believe men are simpler than women (e.g., daily BJs are all that's required, etc). WRONG! Result of that believe is gender rancour, pain, mental health problems, and break-ups.
Men need to spend a little time understanding themselves, then reclaim their right to be respected and to be complex. Mens' Studies. Founded by a fairy. Hmmm...

History is Men's studies, full of war, I might add. To often history is only the story of the white, propertied male.

Because there are things referring to women which aren't covered in another category. I mean, for men you've got "men's haelth" then you've got sport and computers and stuff. Women have stuff which don't fit into another category.

Because, women already know everything and therefore do not need to study men!
Men on the other hand know nothing, therefore need to study women!
(obviously I mean about the opposite sex, men and women do know lots of things, women just use their brains more). :P

that's a great question. this section should be titled "Gender Studies" to include men, transgendered people, instersexed people, etc.
however, that's a newer category, so either Yahoo has its reasons for naming it "Women's Studies", or it just hasn't gotten the memo yet.

Careful, careful! What is there to study? Or maybe men simply retire to their studies.
