No, there is no such law.
You should however keep track of the hours you are working a full year.
That would be 52 entries and present the entries at your next performance review as to why you think you deserve a better raise ASSUMING above-average performance.
The boss maybe able to work out more vacation days or even summer flex hours for you if you as much of a hard worker as you say you are.

Different states have different laws but I have never heard of one. You may want to check with your company for their specif policy regarding vacation. In the company I work in it is based on teh average hours worked up to 40 for FT associates. Hope this helps.

No, I work for the State of California. If that was true in this state I would know for sure.I would recommend that you make an inquire to the Dept of Labor Relations.
