there is always a possibility. Wait another week and try another test. Or just see your doc, the'll do a more acurate test for you.

This is a difficult question, but if you spott and bleed, chances are 1-you are not pregnant or 2-there is something wrong with your pregnancie.

Now you mention that you have not gotten your period for 5 weeks. Skipped periods are sometimes caused when your weight isnt being maintained. Perhaps you lost weight and now you are going through a phase of amnorreah. Or it can also be due to abnormal hormonal levels. There are abviously, many factors that can cause one to skip a period.

However, that other possibilitie is exactly what you said, a possible pregnancie. A pregnancie occurs when sperm-laden-semen has been placed inside the fornices of the vagina. Within the next minutes or sometimes hours after this occurence, the sperms become activated and they start looking for the female egg (oocyte) for fertilization. Then the egg, once fertilized, travels down the uterus tube and somewhere along the way, afeter it has been deposited onto the wall of the uterus, becomes an embryo who then becomes a fetus. Thats a pregnancy right there. So try to remember if you had intercourse with someone. If so, then I suggest that you visit your GYN. I believe ectopic pregnancies are hard to detect and can be fatal to both the mom and the baby if not treated.

I dont mean to scare you, if you test positive congratulations.lf not, perhaps another time you'll become a mom.

if you have taken several pregnancy tests and they all say you are not pregnant, then you probably aren't. Spotting could mean your period is starting up,or you're miscarrying. But, since the pregnancy tests are negative, you're just a little late...and worrying about it can mess you up....I think most women would tell you to trust the tests, especially if you've done it several times with the same outcome. They were always right when I tried them.

My mom tested negative when she took home pregnancy tests when she was pregnant with me. . .so those things aren't always fool proof. You should go in for a blood test if you are worried, and you should seek health care if you are not pregnant for your irregular cycle. clinics like planned parenthood operate on a sliding scale if money is an issue.
