Well if you were able to submit this question then you should really already know the answer to this question. But on the off chance you are really needing to know this okay here it is.

You must have an Internet Service Provider or ISP that you pay a fee to get your computer hooked into the internet . I really don't have a clue as what they do for me, but that is why I pay them , not to have to have a clue.right?
They will connect to your pc by your telephone line so you must hook the pc to the phone jack. Then you either type into the address bar of your pc the web address of the ISP you are using and clicking go or they will send you a CD in the mail to use to hook your connection to the ISP who then connects you to the many legged wonder called the net.
If you use DSL ask someone else okay?
