I just want to listen to experiences of this hooded black cloak figure in the woods. If like to you can give the story of how you encountered one.

Well, I was walking down by the creek one night, watching the moon disappear, cause it wasn't quite new but it was becoming smaller and smaller. The sky was a really dark purple, and it was raining somewhere in the distance cause the sky was a brownish color a bit of distance away.

Any-who, I was walking and it got really windy, so I stopped to feel it, cause cold makes me sleepy and I already couldn't sleep that night. There was this guy who walked out in front of me, and scared the Bejesus out of me, cause he had a like, big hooded jacket or whatever, and his eyes were a really bright hazel, like gold.

Well, he stared at me for a long while, and then he came at me, and I didn't run for it, cause I wasn't really responding so well after we first made eye-contact. I got this dropping feeling in my stomach, he reached out for me and caught me by the throat. I passed out, and woke up on the couch in my apartment with a silver chain on that I didn't remember owning...

I been possessed by an angry vampyre ever since, and weird stuff has been happening since that night, so there you go. A tad cliche, and I'm not sure if an over-sized black jacket counts as a cloak, but it's the closest I've got.

Think I'm crazy now? If not, then you are obviously an interesting judge of mentality...

Actually, I used to walk around my house late at night when I was about 12. I'd sneak out, and walk the railroad tracks to think. Once, I was exploring new tracks, and I went through a quarter mile long, pitch black tunnel, and walked out on a group of serious practicing satanists, gathering, still relaxed, before a ritual. It turns out, all the black cloacked figure experiences I had were just curious satanists, wondering who else was moving so quitetly through the woods. They were a cool group, serious about their beliefs and not so much interested in magic, and they have helped me learn a lot over the years. The group disbanded, but a few still go for late night roams, and when they do, they always break their creepy, ghost like persona to throw down the cloak and catch up with me.

I haven't encountered such but being a ghost hunter I can tell you what you saw. It was what is called a Shadow person class 3. It is basically a spirit that is dark in color (being black doesn't mean evil). A class 3 shadow is human in form about 6-7 feet tall appears to be male most of the time, wears a duster or cloak and some sort of hat. It is nothing to worry about, they usually don't hurt anyone and are very rare.

I went to college with a girl who claimed to have had this experience. She also said that there were going to be Faery wars and that she and her boyfriend were going to produce some great faery warrior. Then she got pregnant have way through her freshman year. They aborted the baby.

Thus, I'm thinking-no hooded figure, no faery wars and no great faery warrior. Just two very disturbed young people.

Believe it or not, I know 3 people who have seen this. Thank God I'm not one of them. But my mother did many times in her bedroom in our old house. Her boyfriend at the time saw it behind a chair in the living room in the same house and was gone when he turned on the light. He thought it was my mom standing in the dark but she wasn't even home. A friend I have in Boston used to sleep with a bat under his bed b/c he would see this figure in his bedroom. Don't know what it is/don't want to know!
