George Washington. Although his major contributions were before he became president, just his presence in the Presidency may have kept the fledgling nation together and gave it the opportunity to succeed. He was probably the most selfless president. A true American hero!

Gee I thought I knew but these are the strangest answers - Clinton by himself is strange but put him with Lincoln. You do know that is a cheating Democrat & a Republican ( who did not die for his beliefs - he was killed by a mad man)
Truman is considered by most scholars as the best president.
I liked Reagan - he was an actor so very personable & did a good job as President.

For me its a tie between Woodrow Wilson and John F. Kennedy
Why:Woodrow Wilson passed the amendment for women to vote, and he tried to keep America neutral during WW1.
JFK:He kept things under control during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Bay of Pigs.To me he is a great President.

Our current President. I can honestly say that he has been dealing with such big issues...and I am loving him because he went after monsters who are messing with my freedom.
I also think that Ronald Reagan was a great President.
These two have been having courage to build bridges where nobody else wanted to go to help.

Without a doubt Ronald Reagan. His administration did a fine job of guiding us through 8 extremely crucial years with expertise and professionalism, which led to the ultimate demise of our arch enemy the USSR.
