The movie is "Brokeback Mountain".

I wasn't freaked by the first love scene in "Brokeback Mountain." I was in fact, disappointed in that it was so short, rather brutish and lacking in tenderness. The film makers (director and actors) had a real opportunity to do something great with this scene but I think they "chickened out." I'm not talking about soft porn and shock value but rather artistic depth and emotional expression. It should have been a lot better considering the talent available.

Brokeback mountian was a love story. It was sad and heartbreaking, but nothing to 'freak' about. Movie's are like peeking into others, fictional in most cases, lives. The two characters in this movie had a very 'rough and tumble' type of way of showing affection for each other...I love the movie, and the sex scene wasn't exploited or drawn out, just another scene to advance the story.

Freaked out? No, but I was hoping for more of a seduction and not just right into the action. Because of all the homophobic controversy and hype, I was expecting more sex scenes in the movie, so I was disappointed there weren't many. I did love that kiss, though!

I wasn't "freaked" exactly. It just surprised me. I really love the movie though. Even though EVERY single time I watch it I get depressed. Despite all that I still love it.

You're talking about Brokeback Mountain, right?

I wasn't. Just... I'm not how to express it.. I wasn't shocked, surprised or anything like that and I don't think that it was te most important scene in whole movie.
generally I realy like the movie, even tho it's very sad story. Sad, but true, I guess...
btw, why are you asking?

You mean Midnight Cowboy? I don't know what movie you mean. No, it wouldn't freak me out in any way. I don't think it would turn me on either. I would watch it and give an honest reaction though.

No.

But then again I didn't see what the big deal was with "Irreversible."

It takes quite a bit to "freak" me. Even a rough love scene with cowboys doesn't cut it.

I thought it was depicted as more of a violent act than it needed to be. But maybe that's realistic, I don't know since I'm not a gay man.

as a gay teenager, i only found it a little homoerotic. i was laughing throught the entire thing after Ennis spits into his hands and rubs it on Jack's butt-for lubrication- ; ) However, i did very much like the kissing.
