AC/DC is the most incredible rock band on the planet. The Crüe is a great band, too, but AC/DC has been around since 1973 without letting up at all. They haven't changed their look or their style of music in those 30+ years, and despite the loss of their first lead singer in 1980, they've plowed ahead without any slack. Angus Young (lead guitar) and Malcolm Young (rhythm guitar) have combined their talents to make music that I can enjoy today as much as I did when I was a kid in the 80's.

this is a hands down question. its ac/dc OF COURSE. ac/dc is a legend, motley crue is known, but i dont consider them rock legends.

How dare you even ask this question... It is unthinkable that you would even question the supreme greatness of ACDC above all other rock bands.... ACDC is like the Micheal Jordan of rock bands or if you don't like MJ the Magic Johnson or if you don't like basketball the David Beckham of soccer or the Tiger Woods of golf... My point is, they are truly the tops, the best and the greatest
