I've been listening to Jaco Pastorius' self titled album lately and I was wondering what other kind of jazz I may like.

Check out George Benson & Hubert Laws' "Live at Carnegie Hall"

Also, Hubert Laws' "Family"

Also, the soundtrack to "Round Midnight"

Also, "Friday Night in San Francisco" by Paco de Lucia, Al Di Meola & *um somebody else I honestly can't remember his name*

it might be John McLaughlin...

signed,

I don't know the album you mention, but I think one of the all time best cuts on a jazz album is "Compared to What" on Swiss Movement: Live at the Montreaux Jazz Festival with Les McCan and Eddie Harris. I hope you try it!

Anything by Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Dave Brubeck, Charlie Parker, Thelonius Monk, and my absolute favorite...Billie Holiday.
