I'm going with Captain America..why cus he took on the Hulk and lived..Bat's would have be killed in like 3 Mins . Bat's would throw his batarangs and stuff and the Cap would jus block that with his sheild . and Bruce would get tired quicker then Cap...plus cap has military training and super strength....Come on Bat's got crippled by Bane long time ago...Bane would have never broke the Cap...and Bane is no where near the level of the Hulk,,,,,,,, nuff said.

I loved the last answer but I would think that the batman would kick the Iceman's *ss if he was fictional. Liddel is good but the batman is better. As for Captain American. He's no match for Bruce. He has a shield and Batman has everything and some. Way to go Batman.

Batman would kick his @ss. Captain America wont cross line and do anything bad in the fight, whereas Bats would do whatever it takes to win

This square-off took place already in "Marvel vs. DC" & "DC vs. Marvel" (a four-parter published by Marvel and DC alternately that lead up to the "Amalgam" event).
In that comic, it show Bats and Cap fighting for hours to a complete draw.
I would say, as written, they are almost identically matched. They are both brilliant stratigests, masters of hand-to-hand combat, and tenacious enough to keep fighting untill they win or are broken.
Personally, I have to give the edge to Batman. While Cap has enhanced strength and reflexes, I still think that Batman is the smarter of the two by far and would eventually be able to find a way to beat Cap.

A good battle question. Fairly equally matched - however I think Batman might win because he'd play dirty. Cap's principles are always in the way.

I think the same, that they would be evenly matched .
Though batman has brains, cadgets and martial arts. While Cap has his superstrangth and a sheild. If I had to root for one, I might go with Cap.
