Im 15 going on 16 but I look MUCH younger. How do i look older?

Tieing your hair back from your face,like in a bun sort of thing, or pulling it back severely with no fringe. Wearing quite 'classic' cuts of clothing. Wearing your makeup tastefully. Having your body posture nice and straight and I think acting older as well helps, having class and good manners with people and talking 'like' you know more than you do! Hope this helps.

Why do you want to look older? I'm 43 and still get carded, whether out of how I look or simply because the person is nice. Many say I look 27. Stay young and enjoy life. Don't try to grow up too fast. You'll be there soon enough

You don't. It's all in the attitude. Act as if you are older. Attitude and actions carry a lot of weight with how people think about you. Calm and cool. It's kinda sucky to be thought of as younger when you are young but it's a great thing when you are older!

No, don't worry about it. I have always looked younger. I am 37 and people guess me between 23 and 27. So, love the way you look. If you want to age. Just go in the sun. The sun will age you. I have never gone in the sun and that's why I still look young.

Lucky you! When all your buddies are in their 40s, and showing it, you'll look like a 25-year old. I know it's a pain right now, but don't go overboard on it. You can do a bit with hairdos, a bit with makeup, and a bit with the style of clothing you choose -- but do it discreetly or you'll make yourself look like a little girl dressing up in someone else's clothing. The way you act can have as much to do with how old you appear as your physical appearance.

I have the same problem. I'm almost 21 and I get mistaken for as young as 13. It definately depends on style and clothes. For example: wearing nice pants and a button up shirt will make you look older than cropped pants and a band shirt.

Usually the right hair style will add a bit of age to you, but one thing I can say is dont rush it... when you get a bit older you will appreciate it.

Im 25 and look about 20.... always get carded but I love looking youg and having soft skin, etc....

Consider applying makeup on your face. Change the way you dress to resemble fashions worn by those older than you. Associate with older people and learn to carry yourself like them.

well hair style and make up and clothes have a lot to do with it.For examply long shoulder lenght streaky blonde hair or something like that can look very pre teen.How you act and talk as alot to do with it.Try to speak properly not saying you have to talk all snobby and fair lady just steer clear of 'Omg like toally and he was like and I was all like'.!.Speaking like that will make you sound like a valley girl and it will make you seem like your 11.Also with make up caking your face with sparkles and coating yourself with thick shinny furity flavoured gloss.Um..can you say pre teen appeal.Factors like talking in a annoying pre teen manner will make you younger.Sparkle galore and thick goopy gloss coated mouths with a nasueaing scent make you seem younger.A certain hair style will make you look younger.And fashion also plays a factor.But take as a good thing of someone thinks your younger better then them thinking your a 100.Keep yourself looking like the fun teen chick you are but keep yourself from going throu the 'OMG' phases.You want people to take you seriously sometimes but not all the time.
