You mean the Politically Correct Police haven't kicked in your door and dragged you away to a reeducation camp for daring to speak true? Three cheers to you for having the courage to tell it it like it is!

I always thought Sodomite was a funny word. Not all homosexuals engage in sodomy, nor does that accurately define the female homosexual. Some may think the word is base. You would also have to call heterosexuals who engage in anal sex with women, Sodomites. I'll say this much, I've never met a man or woman who hailed from the land of Sodom, nor have I met a woman who's ancestors lived on the isle of Lesbos. It's just semantics.

It' no longer what Christians imagine that concerns. it really is what the Lord Himself has declared on the issue. Scripture obviously tells us that it replaced into for this very reason the Lord destroyed both cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because the places were complete of homosexuals. what's incorrect with some those who they couldn't manage a classic sexual courting with the different gender? it type of feels to stem from some type of a psychological ailment or some thing. The Lord gained't excuse those who're excited by this abominable prepare as He has declared that if you happen to're, He has ALREADY given them over to a reprobate (morally bankrupt) thoughts to do those issues which aren't any more accessible although their end will be in accordance to their works. somewhat than attempting to justify gay habit, you may be speaking direct to the Lord on the remember and allow Him to enlighten you.

First, female Homosexuals are not necessarily sodomites. Also, sodomy is not limited to the homosexual lifestyle so it would not be very accurate. And in American culture sodomy is not well accepted (it is even still illegal in some states - ever wonder who the sodomy police are?) so it would most likely be seen as derogatory and offensive to call them sodomites.
The term Homo comes from the Greek for "same" while sex is our word (from Latin) for "sex" or "gender". Just like Hetero is the Greek for "different".

Because the term we use is correct.
The term “sodomy” derives from the name of the ancient city of Sodom, which according to a common interpretation of the Bible, was destroyed by God for its sins (see Sodom and Gomorrah). In today's common language it identifies the practice of anal or oral intercourse.

Homosexuality, on the other hand, etymologically refers to same sex attraction, which a precise definition.

It would probably be a good idea to use the original word, which has not lost its meaning, and recover the misused word 'gay'.
