it fells so good to be back ok 25 th pick how bout how boyt going back two the nets picks there is no way in hell they should take two post players they shbould of taken davis and douby now back to the cavsWhen Larry Hughes is healthy the Cavaliers have a solid starting five in Eric Snow, Hughes, LBJ, Gooden, and Ilgauskas. Cleveland should look for a point guard in the draft to not only back up Snow, but to replace him when he retires.
so i pick Guard Quincey douby (i am telling you he should of been taken by the nets
SCOUTING REPORT: Scoring is not an issue for Douby. After leading the Big East in scoring as a junior at 24 points per game, Douby decided to enter the NBA draft. He did not hire an agent in case he decides to return to school. There are a lot of things offensively Douby can do. He has tremendous shooting range and can create his own shot quite easily. Douby shot a respectable 46-percent from the floor as a junior, including hitting 40 percent of his 3-point shots. He really opened scouts' eyes last season when he scored 41 points, including nine 3s against Syracuse. Douby had eight 30-point games his junior year. He has a smooth release on his jumper and is an excellent free-throw shooter (85 percent last season). He also averaged 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists last year. His scoring average shot up from 15.1 points per game as a sophomore to 25.4 as a junior. When he is hot, he can really fill it up from the outside. He is also a very capable ball-handler, which he needed dearly at Rutgers where he faced many double- and triple-teams because of a lack of a supporting cast. Size and strength are weaknesses for Douby. He's only 6-foot-3 and many scouts doubt his ability to play the point and run a team. Defensively, bigger guards will be able to physically overmatch him. However, Douby does aggressively defend and gives maximum effort. His scoring ability and polished offensive game makes him a borderline first-round pick.

Rajon Rondo
He fills the Cavs greatest need. A true point guard with the ability to run the offence, penatrate, find the open man and score. Rondo is the best and most balanced point guard left on the board. Rondo' s a lightning quick point guard with the ability to penetrate seemingliy at will. He has incredible body control and takes the ball to the basket and finishes exceptionally well for a PG. He has a scorers mentality, but also passes the ball well especially on the dribble drive. Owns great ball handling skills which become lethal combined with his quickness.
Many people thought Rondo was the best player on his high school team that included Josh Smith (drafted 17th by Atlanta Hawks in 2004)! He has progressed into a solid shooter, that combined with his quickness has made him a very difficult player to defend.
The Cavs' current point guard Eric Snow, a liabillity on offence, is better suited as a back up/ mentor to a more well rounded point guard, such as Rajon Rondo. Damon Jones is a one dimentional player whose game is soley based on his jump shot. If that is off, Jones brings nothing to the table. LeBron James, needs to play off the ball more and not have to dominate the ball as a scorer, rebounder AND playmaker as he did against the Pistons. James ran out of gas against the Pistons, because he had to do it all. Even Michael Jordan needed Pippen to take that slack, and run the offence for the 6 championship Chicago Bulls teams. Larry Hughes, though a higly talented player, is not at his best when he runs an offence.
Rondo, coupled with the Cavs current pieces, could help James and the Cavs reach the next level.

Eric Snow is not getting any younger and the Cavaliers need somebody to run the show. A new point guard brought to Cleveland would not only need to pass the ball, but also be able to score becasue LeBron James and The Big Z are good passers. That is why they will select Dee Brown to play point. He could bring a new tempo to the Cavs making them more of a running offense. Brown is very good at both shooting and penetrating so he would definetly impat the offense

Rajon Rondo is going to be a superstar, mark my words. He came out of high school ranked only number 25 by rivals.com. He has progressed so much as a player and although i feel he should have stayed in school for one more year, he is the one guard on the board that can take the pressure off LeBron. If the Cavs decide to take a big man, then they have to pray that Paul Davis the Center from Michigan State is still on the Board. He could do for LeBron what Shaq did for Kobe.

they will pick strictly on a need here and select a pg. most of the good pg prospects will be gone by the time they pick (farmar, foye, williams, rodriguez, rondo, and lowry) so i would assume they select guillermo diaz. i dont really know about him though and frankly i dont really care what the cavs do. if i were them i would take darius washington jr. in my opinion washington is much better than diaz even though diaz is ranked higher and whoever selects washington jr. will be getting a steal. something tells me the cavs are smart enough to make washington their pick. final: darius washington jr. would be a nice lil shock but definately a big bargain.

Josh Boone, the Cavs need muscle up front or they'll never be able to match up with physical teams. Gooden is soft and Z is getting old.
Boone's going to be a much better pro than most people think.
Boone and Varejao would be physical and athletic, great combo to compliment LeBron.

the cavs gotta go after a PG with this pick. so they pick kyle lowry. the PG that they have...snow and jones...have basically no offensive game. their PG skills aren't very good either. lowry has the ability to get his own shot and only time will tell if he can actually improve his game. ray and foye took the majority of the shots at villanova so he didn't have to worry about offense. but besides that, his defense and passing are all there.

p.j. tucker they have the guards( lebron and larry). they need some more help in scoring and tucker can do it. tucker picked apart defenses in college and made opposing teams coaches go nuts because of his athleticism.tucker has the potential to be an nba all star thats why the cavs should take him.

definite, they are playing properly and nevertheless maintained the right record inspite of just about actually everyone sustained injuries, from LeBron, Shaq, Mo, Jamison, West, Powe and Varejao. Their crew chemistry and abilities are of the most appropriate. actually they could win the call on the positioned up season.
