Sure most painters put wet paint signs on dry paint.
Why touch it and wreck his hard work.
I which all you people would quit touching my wet paint.

this is the same situation when you see wet cement and there are signs saying dont walk on it - you just have to check it out and leave a mark. It's human nature. My workplace is always painting the walls and doors, and I always have the urge to touch the paint even though there are signs clearly posted everywhere. You just have to see the degree of dryness. Maybe the sign was posted the day before, maybe it was just a few hours ago, or a few minutes. One could only know if they touched the wall. Maybe its Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, but I call it just plain fun.

I laughed at this question when I read it because I have done it before. Well....If it is a bench and it says WET PAINT and the painter is NOT around I will touch it to see if it is wet because I want to sit down.
If the painter is around, dont touch it, it makes them mad. Believe me, my old man is a painter !

because u cant really see that its wet, so by touching u can truly confirm it. plus, its kind of the forbidden fruit syndrome. then again, i just realised that the sign doesnt say "dont touch", but it just says 'wet paint", so technically they are leaving it open to you whether u wanna touch it or not. freedom of choice. interesting.

No. Why would you touch it if it said "Wet paint?" Knowing my luck, it really would be wet. LOL

It's the same thing as touching the blazing hot plate the waitress just told you was hot.

It's the same as telling a child, "Don't put beans in your ear." Go back later, and you'll find a bean in the childs ear.

No, I normally take a sniff and then I touch it. Can't help myself, human nature.
