I was wondering..,because we need peace. we need hope. we need the strength in our hearts to make it in this world. and i was wondering, how can we accomplish this? how can we encourage everybody in the world to be more wanting to make a change? a BIG change? I really want to make a difference in the world for the better...and I wish more people would feel the same way. Suggestions, anybody? thanks.

You need to become an activist for what you believe. Change will not occur unless people are willing to make this a priority in their lives. Most people are so busy living their lives that they do not have time to do this. One way that does not take too much time is to find out what companies are funding or promoting issues that you disagree with and do not purchase anything from these companies. Seek out people that feel the same way you do and get involved. Good luck. Peace to you also.

What we need to do is to be color blind with people and race the only thing that course is hate and racism with one another and god don't want that. We wants every body to be happy and love one another and respected every body. How we do this is by bring peace and hope ,strength in your family and show the children the good values of life but we need the government to change allot of things course there just braking every body down how don't have a good change of making it in this world. The government got every body on try in to be number one1 and its not like that couse this is one world that every body leaves in. We come and go every second, its not about making money its but been happy with your family and how u can help every body so they can help u 2 love life. Therese more what we need to do in this world and its all about the children future. O and every female out there is an ANGLE giving to use males by god so we need to take care of them. thank u ,CARLOS .L BYE

Term limits for members of Congress. Half the problem is that in the U.S. (The world's only superpower, BTW) most of the decisions are made by senators and reps who have been in there too long and no longer represent the people. Cronyism and pork prevail as a result.

It's a huge task and it's not been accomplished yet in the world. Positive, ethical, and sincere young leaders who have the ability to talk to crowds of people and to get them to really listen and care would be a beginning.

Increased education. Free college, free preschool, effective teaching in schools. More special programs, art, music, phys ed. More libraries. More civic dialog and debate. Education is the basis for freedom, understanding, and peace. Volunteer to help your community, donate time to increase civic involvement. An idol mind is the handiwork of the devil, and the glory of god is intelligence.

One problem with your plan: What do you mean by "better"?
Some say that if we stop the murder of unborn babies, that would be better.
Others say that if the government stops telling women what to do with their bodies, that would be better.
And there's plenty of things like that where we are split 50/50--right down the middle. Unfortunately, some of these things are taken very seriously by people, and they won't back down.
Perhaps if people weren't so serious, things would get "better".

the only way I could see the world being a better place is to get rid of money, religion and technology... I know it sounds stupid but do any other animals on this planet have these? there doing fine except when where killing them...

It's easier said than done. There's alot of ways we can start spreading the idea of world peace. Being kind to other people, stopping corruption, mediating between warring countries, etc.

make a government that doesnt exploit its people and work on peace and doesnt have a curupt government. it doesnt matter whether republican or democrats they just have to really care about their citizens and not try hust to make money off them watch loose change
