Chlorine bleach is cheap. Have the area well ventilated and use gloves. The bottles often give directions for that source of thing.

This sounds weird, but I swear by it. I use mouthwash for the tough stains. Let it soak if you have a really tough stain so you don't have to break your back by scrubbing. It works well for mold and mildew, but I am not sure about soap scum.

Afterwards, rinse really well and apply some bleach to disinfect and kill the germs. I just put some in a spray bottle and spray the affected area. Hope that this helps.

Put some bleach in a spray bottle and spray it on and let it set, do this a couple of times, if you still have the stains dilute the bleach 50/50 with water, and take your clothes off and get in the shower and spray again and scrub with the brush, be sure to have your exhaust fan on, and leave the bathroom after the two first sprays with the pure bleach after letting the first two rounds of bleach set, rinse well then do the 50/50 with the scrubb brush and shower your self off after scrubbing. This is the easiest way to do it without splattering the bleach on your clothes.

i work at an apartment complex cleaning we see this alot. i swear by lysol toilet bowl cleaner, it will remove anything let it set on there for 3 to 5 minutes and it will wash right off. do not let it set on the faucet fixtures because it will turn them black. also it is best to wet the tiles, squirt lysol on, then use a broom to spread and then use a broom with water on to rinse away... good luck your shower will look new again... if there is any caulking this will not get rid of the problem. you will have to remove it and replace with new.
