I Stopped watching Raw, because frankly, as long as they have the title on that no-talent, jarhead, cracker *, I refuse to tune in... I flipped to one of the weekend hilight shows and heard that edge "cost him the belt" at the last PPV.
Plaese bring me up to speed. Thanks, links are good too, I cant find anything on wwe.com or 411mania.com, but the hockey game is on, and I cant look very hard.

Ok, here's the deal, John Cena finally lost the title at ECW: One Night Stand. He lost it to the most underrated wrestler in the WWE, Rob Van Dam. If anyone deserved the WWE title, it's RVD! No one cost John Cena the WWE title except John Cena. The match at ECW: One Night Stand had ECW rules, so that means anything goes. First of all, the first referee was knocked out by Cena, then the second referee was inadvertedly knocked down by RVD after Cena picked him up for the FU. Edge interfered right after that by spearing Cena through a table and that set up the Five-Star Frog Splash by RVD for the win. The crowd went crazy afterwards. The worst part about the whole thing is that RVD was never intended to win. The ending was changed right before the match because they feared that the ECW crowd might actually riot if Cena retained the title. Now RVD is the Champion, but, unfortunately, not for long because of that same reason. RVD is both the WWE Champion and ECW Champion. He will lose the WWE title soon, but not at Vengeance. Anyway, that's the whole story behind the WWE title and how RVD won it.

Cena lost his title to RVD @ ECW's One Night Stand. Two referee's were knocked out and Edge speared Cena. RVD covered Cena while Paul Heyman counted 1-2-3!
