HI, I tried to download Norton antivirus the free trial but my computer at the end of the download said it is not safe to download it.
To download Wondows XP SP 2....do you know from where to download it?
I checked pctools.com but my browser only shows signs when I click download; I do not know why.
There is this other website soft32.com
but I don't know how safe or good they are.

My suggestion is to download Service Pack 2 from http://www.windowsupdate.com That is the only sure way to make sure that you safely get the update. As for other issues make sure you have the latest version of Internet Explorer.

SP 2 is a huge download. If you are on dial-up yor would be best to order the CD free from Microsoft here:

www.microsoft.com for the sp2 update, The message you are getting is because your firewall is up. Turn it off for the download and you should be able to do it.
I would also go to www.avast.com and download their free antivirus software. I find it to be better then Norton myself.

http://support.microsoft.com there, nortons is fine its just a setting that you have in IExplorer to look for certified or not u can download nortons from there
