You are now married..You need to let sleeping dogs lie. Why get yourself into a situation you may regret later on.
You need to respect your wife and not be concerned about having a relationship with an ex girlfriend. You need to tell this girl you are now married and the past is the past.
There must be some type of old buried feelings going on between you and the ex. At least with you, b/c if there wasn't I'm sure you would be entertaining the thought. If you really love & respect your wife, you'll RUN!
Does you wife know about this?

She's interested in seeing what comes of a possible new friendship. She wants more than just a platonic friendship with you. You DO know that, don't you? If you are happily married, and want to stay happily married, avoid the ex. She sounds like trouble.

yes , you can be her friend and just her pleutonic friend. just put that out in the front and let your wife know what the deal is with her from the beginning, because you don't want this to backfire on you in the future. because sometimes, when a woman is friends with your wife and then she wants to become your friend and you don't discuss the matter with your wife like you should, it will come to a day that your wife will notice how friendly and chum you have become with your ex and her friend, and out of now where her mind will wonder, even though she she has no reason to.

Watch out! Tread so lightly on this one as if it were a pit viper, a deadly poisonous snake. I don't see how you could maintain a platonic relationship here, and I don't think your wife's once-upon-a-time "best friend" and your old girlfriend has anything platonic in mind. She wants to see what comes of it, all right, what "friendship" will get her, and maybe wreck your marriage, too. I'd say, JUST DON'T.

Yes you can have a friendship, just be careful what you talk about. There are bounderies to this. To keep it pleutonic talk that way with one another. Maybe set her up with a friend for a double date, this could work, 3 is always a crowd and could become a riot if not managed properly

Ha ha ha. She's interested in seeing how long it'll take her to get you into bed. Does your wife know about ur "friendship" with an ex?? I doubt it. Unless you want to get divorced when ur wife finds you cheating on her, don't go there!!

I think sooner or later BOOM ! you'll be in bed. The ex FRIEND needs to move on . YOU NEED to FOCUS ON YOUR WIFE'S NEEDS..and you wrote WAS her best friend ! WHY are they not friends now? I think there is a motive of some kind I think you know that TOO! Your just wanting someone to say it is okay...I can't ..I think your headed for trouble....Thanks : )

My fiance if though we are not married yet has a lot of platonic relationships with women. He also stays in touch with hie ex's. They know he loves me and has changed his life to be with me. I feel there is nothing wrong with it.
