do you mean "Shaka Kahn" ? that's the only song that sounds remotely what you're talking about.

I have often asked this question. Some people have quite strong accents when they speak, but when they sing the accent is not so strong at all. The only exception to this, that I can think of, is The Proclaimers. They have a strong Scottish accent when they speak but it is even stronger when they sing - unfortunately. I cannot stand to listen to them. We come from the same part of Scotland and live not far from each other, but I cringe when I hear them sing.
