I feel great about it! I really don't mind interracial dating. I think its beautiful when people can express their feelings and not bow to the status que placed on us by society. People forget the culture of America and so it seems, there isn't what they would describe a "problem" with this situation, They choose not to address it, well the "problem" is people being color blind, to the specifics of the word, BLIND TO THE COLORS AROUND YOU. They are unwilling to accept them and hence they are not there or you are blind to them. I don't believe in color blindness, its ignorance, it needs to change, be aware of the wondrous variety around you and accept it. I Think its extremely interesting to learn about other people's ways of life. I think its really sad that people of any race can simply 'dis' others because they are of any color.

Well, I think it's your personal choice, I'm white, I've dated a black boy once. I don't see anything wrong with it, I think if two people REALLY like each other, where's the wrong in that? Some people say that their children will get teased in school for being half and half, but personally I think mixed people are pretty! It's your choice really.

Love is love. I have a beautiful multi-racial child. You have to have thick skin though and not let people's comments bother you. My husband and I got it from both the white AND black sides of the family, but we learned to accept that some people just aren't ready for change.

And Darin's whole penis theory is ridiculous. One race does not have the advantage over the other in the penis department. Trust me on that one.

White girls think they are geting a biger penis by dating a black guy. This is a myth of course. The blacks that go after white girls are the ones with the big ones. The blacks who are small never go after white girls so you see the myth gets biger and biger.

Well, I hope she's taking him seriously, and not just trying to shock her parents. That's the one thing I worry about in interracial romances: that one or the other may be in it for the shock value (which is diminishing daily, after all) rather than for the sincere love of the man or woman involved.

Aside from that, you will hear me blessing them. They will have superior babies, as they strengthen our species as a whole. We need to mix the gene pool more to move evolution forward.

Back in the early 90's this topic was sorta taboo, its a regular sight here in the city. Might still shock those who live in the sticks. My god mixed kids are great looking (well most)!

What does color have to do with anything. We are all human beings. Some people always look at it that way. There is good and bad in all of us no matter what color etc.

Doesn't bother me. I don't think that interracial dating is such a taboo anymore. Maybe if you live in the deep south or something, but it is so commonplace now, it just is no big deal.
