What is the purpose of existence when it’s all futile? Why long for the next when now isn’t concrete? Why is life one swindle after another? Why is black so forgiving? Why is white so vain? Is the image in the looking glass your alternate evil looking to get out? Why live to die when you can easily die to live? The journey is not the reward. The ends oft justified by beginning. When the credits roll on your life, why will be the best boy? Does the snooze button really make a difference? Do you feel it in your bones or are your bones trying to tell you something? Is your thread of truth tied to my rope of deceit? I look and you look back.

Maybe living is all about dying, the closest to alive you can get is when you feel closest to death. I think the only purpose to existence can be said to be existence itself, purpose lies in each moment, it seems to be a transient concept at least in our own minds. Is it the image in the mirror that is evil or is it the good one, How is an end justified by a beginning and why is the journey not the reward when there is nothing once you stop. The snooze button makes all the difference in the world, the sleep you get after the shock of waking up too early is the best you experience all night. I always used to set my alarm an hour early just for the bliss of knowing I didn't have to get up yet. I do feel it in my bones and they are trying to tell me something - along the lines of drink more milk and stop bashing me around. If you look and I look back do we truly see each other? or just a reflection of our own perception of what the other should be.
