The color of your skin should not determine the way you behave and act. Things such as this is what makes acts of racism to be. WE should all act however we want to and be free to say and do as we please regardless your race. Try not to let what people say effect how you behave because then you'll be living for someone else and not yourself. Also, ask yourself this question, something a lot of people need to ask themselves, what determines someone acting black or white? Was there not so many years to create civil rights so that we are not judging people on there skin color. You can't allow a person of one race say or do one thing and not allow the other. SO GO OUT AND BE YOURSELF!

screw other people. Race issues are such a joke. There has been such a huge onslaught of inter-racial couples that years down the road there won't be a white or black. We will all be gray.....lol. Seriously, why can't you be a skater? You are you and that is all that counts. Besides, look at somebody like Jimi Hendrix. He was mixed and is still considered one of the world's ultimate rock gods. It didn't matter to him that he was black. He just did what he loved. So skate your *ss off and love it.

Skateboarders are not supposed to care what other people think, because evereybody thinks that skateboarding is a crime.
Whatever you do, or whoever you are, somebody will always think they're better than you. Someone will always look down on you, and someone will always be an idiot. Don't listen to the idiot, listen to yourself.
What you should be asking is "Do I want to be a skater?" If you want to be a skater, and you can afford the stuff to do it, then it will always be OK for you to be a skater.

OK little girl your who you want to be black or white are trying to say black peoples don't or can't skate.then you must not really like your black side .one day your really going to have to deal with this .it not that you act white .it what the white see you as and you know what bet you have that dark tan year round .and you know what else they going to see you as a black person no matter if your mom is white .but it great being who i am what about that a black man.i think you have problem being part black .

to tell you the truth it doesn't matter what ethnecity you're from. all that matters is you being you.and whatever makes you happy feel free to do it don't worry about what other people will think of you if they like it that's good if they don't it's nothing you can do about it but just continue being you.
would you rather be liked for who your not, than be hated for who you are? that's a question only you can answer.
always remember to be yourself and not anyone else.

Hi, it doesn't metter what race you are it matter who you are, the people who doesnt like you are stupid, think that they are better than everyone...all they do is discriminate people just beacause they are different nobody is the same ... Im brazilian and half african my grandfather is black my grandmother is white, im very very mixed more than you ....just be your self and don't give a DAMN about those who thinks you are different and like i sayed it doesn't matter what you are it matters who you are .... you can be anything you wanna be....

Yes, it is ok for you to be a skater. I think you can do whatever your heart desires. After all it's not your fault that your mixed, and no one should judge you on that either. So i say GO FOR IT.

I'm half mexican half white, and I went out with a half black half white skater guy a couple years ago and people didn't like it. But it doesn't matter what others think, honestly.

My mom is white, my dad was white. My really good friends are white. I act like me and some people don't like me because of it. That's their problem. Just be yourself.
