Don, they not only bashed him for 8 years but they investigated his every move for the 20 years before. He was accused of everything that happened in America for those 20 years. If you remember what started out as an investigation into a business deal gone bad ended up with Monica. I to this day think she was a plant because they could find nothing else to get him on. He was even accused in Vincent Foster's suicide. Ron Browns Plane wreck and numerous other "crimes". We did not know what crime was until Bush took office and I for one will be on his case and those that voted for him and especially the mentally deficient that just do not get it, until at least 2 weeks after he leaves office. That is my duty as a patriot.

Well peace and prosperity that was due to the fact that Clinton admitted to knowing where Osma Bin Laden was and could have captured him and maybe 911 would not have happened but he choose to let the next president deal with his inaction and thousands died. And don't forget Blackhawk down. Americans beaten and drug to the death behind trucks in Somalia during Clinton's Presidency. The man has no conscience. The problem with the new liberals is they bell eve good intentions excuse a bad result. We know for a fact he had a sexual relationship that he admitted to in the Oval Office of the White House. I agree his sex life should be private but when he did it in the Oval Office I believe it cheapens the position of the president and the White House belongs to the people of this country because we paid for it with our taxes and his act shows a blatant disregard for the Office of the President and Americans.
Oh! and while I'm on this rant! Kerry should go to jail as a war criminal. He admitted killing women and children in Vietnam and the defense that my commander told me to do it doesn't cut it.
After WWII the Germans who committed war crimes used that defense and they were shot or went to prison.
Clinton and Kerry deserve each other. I hope Kerry runs for President again so he gets his *** whipped. He's a poor excuse for an American and would make and even more embarrassing President.

I only bashed Clinton on his total lack of morals, something that has never come up with a family man like Bush. When he attacked Iraq for the 1st time & signed the declaration over Iraq not allowing in weapons inspectors - 18 months before Bush was in office. I supported him & the military assuming he knew more about goverment intelligence from briefing than I did. Can you say the same thing?

HAHAHA... listen to all the conservatives cry about it... to sum up what there arguments seem to be:
"it's only OK to bash the President if you're complaining about something that isn't an issue that will impact America"
That makes a lot of sense... I guess we should support every actual "issue" no matter how horrible it may be... like the Iraq war, medicaid prescription program, no child left behind, ports, Harriet Meyers, brownie and Katrina, not caring where Osama is, tax cuts geared toward the wealthy, tax cuts and grants for big oil at a time of record profits, friendly with human rights abusing China, no action on abortion, no action on immigration and an out of control debt... yeah, we shouldn't complain about any of that...

Basic hypocrisy, apparently. Actually, though, it's worse than you make it seem. They went right on criticizing, insulting, and even impeaching him while our troops were in harm's way in the Balkans and in Haiti. It's easy to forget Clinton's use of the military these days, because it was usually so quick and competent. Even questioning Bush, on the other hand, will get you called un-American, which is about as cheap and un-American a charge as anyone can make in this country. Actual criticism probably flags you on an NSA database (this exchange, for instance). I definitely don't remember any "Support Our Troops" protests when, for the second time in US history, a partisan Republican Congress brought an impeachment for purely political reasons. When you consider the record of the past five years, it is easy to understand why they might be a little unwilling to face criticism they can not answer.

Peace? How many deployments of the military did Clinton pull off in 8 years? How many bombings? And what was the purpose of all that "peace"? To spread democracy! Clinton's own words! So now that a "Neocon" is doing what almost every American president since FDR has done, "nation building", you want to throw it around like you own the rights to being indignant.

Bush never penetrated an intern, he never knowingly and willingly lied to the American people, what happened to Vince foster? Clinton did nothing when Terrorist hit us on his watch, but started bombing golf courses when he was in political trouble, That's just off the top of my head, Didn't Hillary and Bill get caught with a whole mess of FBI files that they had no explanation for.
This is off the top of my head, there are many many more examples of the immorality of Clinton
All you moronic liberals got on Bush is He lied wahhhhh unjust war wahhhhhh
Whatever, we are beyond that and into the running of our country instead of the destruction from within.
Liberalism is truly a mental disorder.

Because Clinto was handed a country ont he track for 8 years of prosperity from good politics, and squandered that time to forstall and anticipaite the coming wrath of terrorism and Islamic fanatisisim. He could have stopped this before 9/11, before it became an issue. But he didn't, he got a BJ from a fat girl in the oval office and lied about it, that was his legacy. Thanks for making our country a worse place to live Bill, sex offender and liar. Now, do I get 10 points for answering your question with honesty :)

Because they have one set of rules for themselves and a different set of rules for anyone who disagrees with them. I thought that was obvious.
They spent $70 million investigating Whitewater and couldn't do anything to Clinton over that. Then they impeached him and couldn't get a conviction on that either. Neocons will do anything to discredit the opposition, but whine and cry when their own people are exposed as liars and criminals. A good synonym for "Neocon" is "hypocrite."
